The fun did not stop!!

So birthday fun did not stop on the 29th! On Friday - I went to Nordstrom....and officially got a coach bag - The best part I did not have to pay for it!! Now here is a little background on that.....over the past 2 years I have gotten several Nordstrom giftcards for birhtdays and christmas (thank you Zandt fam) And I ALMOST had enough for a Coach bag....So for my bday Michelle "made me" go pick it out and she paid the difference!! And I love it!! I would NEVER think of paying that kind of money for a purse - but giftcards - Im ALL about it!

Then on Saturday I went to the Keith Urban and Kenny Chesney Concert! Katie and Cody got me tickets for my bday - and it was so freakin cool!! And there is a great story to go along with this too! We had upper level tickets...so we went to find our seats and we asked this guy where our seats were and he said he would make us a deal....if we gave him our tickets in seciton 400 he would trade us for 3 tickets in section 100 - we thought there was a catch....Turns out there wasn't he just gave us the much better tickets! We were pretty pleased! But it got better! Cody wanted to try to get on the floor...me and Katie were thinking there was NO way the security dudes would just let us down as we did not floor wrist bands.........Well Cody starts talking to security and the next thing I know we are down on the floor! Way to go Cody!! It was so cool! The concert was awesome and we ended up with great seats! Keith and Kenny both put on great shows! It was a perfect ending to my birthday celebration!! Thank you again Katie and Cody!

29 on the 29th!!

So they say it was my golden birthday....and I think I agree.....lets hope for a golden year! My b-day was a great day from beginnning to end! I could not be happier with the day! My dad took me to breakfast at the Royal Palms (this is my favorite breakfast place - Mediteranean Benedict is KILLER!!) After that I went with Michelle and Katie to get a pedicure. The lady who owns the place found out it was my birthday and went and bought all 3 of us cold stone! SO sweet of her! Then for lunch some of the my fav girls from hygiene school took me to lunch - it was so fun to go and catch up (it's weird not seeing them daily!) That night my family and some friends all met at Rigatony's for dinner - it was so much fun to go with everyone - I loved it and...I got a brand new camera!! It is awesome! Thank you Family! And Katie and Cody got me tickets to the Keith Urban and Kenny Chesney concert! After dinner me and some friends went to Michelles house for cupcakes and pie ( this got a tad random with who showed up - LONG story!) But we had the funnest times - I do not think I have ever laughed to hard for so long! It was an awesome day!Thank you everyone for you phone calls, texts, cards, gifts, lunch, flowers, and a great day!

I DID IT!!

It is official! I am done with Hygiene School! I still have a hard time believing it is all over! In some ways that was a super long time and in some ways I feel like I just started yesterday! It's Crazy! I loved it though - even though it was pretty frekin hard! Im pretty sure someday I will miss it - I'm a dork like that! It is a strange feeling when you go to school with the same 15 girls everyday (and night!) for 2 years and then its just done. I already feel like something is wrong because I have not seen them! I have to wait 4 weeks to get my license and then I will be cleaning teeth for a paycheck! YAY! Can not wait!

SIX SCHOOL DAYS LEFT!!!!!!!!!!

is it! I will officially be done with Hygiene school! Don't get me wrong....On May 4th I have my final clinical state board (MINOR stressor!)......BUT - That is it! I am so excited I can't stand it! These last few days are going to be rather stressful - because I have numerous group meetings, projects, and presentations - but I just keep telling myself 6 more school days!! I guess part of me never thought school would end! It is a strange feeling and Im not sure when it will kick in that school is over- Im still dumbfounded we only have 6 days of class and clinic left!

This is one of my many favorite quotes from the move Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium -Yes - I am posting about this movie - Don't make fun of it! If you have not seen this movie - might I suggest it! Yes your kids will love and I would be willing to say adults will like it too! It is super random and strange but it has some cool little life lessons and quotes in it! Dustin Hoffman is awesome in this movie - he becomes very endearing! One of my favorite parts of the movie is when Mr. Magorium and Mahoney are in a clock shop and they have set all the clocks to go off at one time - Mahoney says... we have 37 seconds...now we wait...Mr. M then says...No - we breath, we pulse, we regenerate, our hearts beat, our minds create, our souls ingest...37 seconds well used is like a life time. Now maybe I got too into this movie - but I loved the underlying message of living life to the fullest and loving it by not taking it for granted and using our talents and rising to our life/occasion!

BOARDS

So I guess it would only be appropriate to post about the INCREDIBLY stress filled week I had last week! Last Tuesday I took the National Boards for dental hygiene - FUN FUN!! FALSE!! It is just a small 350 question test given for 8 hours! GROSS!! Needless to say - I was a squeak stressed about it....And the kicker of the whole thing was that I will not know how I did on the test for 4 to 6 weeks!! If that is not torture - I am not really sure what is (beside taking it I guess) But luckily I survived and I felt pretty good about it - hopefully I am not eating my words next month! It was absolutely draining and Ifelt brain dead until about Tuesday of this week! It was so hard to go back to school the next day and try to function - BUT I did it! I felt very blessed for all the support, encouragement and prayers I had - I could not have done it without everyone's help! I am just SUPER glad that it is over and now I have 4 weeks of school left! WOOHOO!!!!!!!
